Workshop Content This two-day course on advanced level is aimed at foot and orthopedic surgeons interested in improving their know-how and skills in elective foot and ankle surgery. The treatment of degenerative deformities and osteoarthritis are covered by an optimal mix of short lectures, interactive case discussions and extensive workshops with anatomical specimens. Step by step, the participants learn to perform a variety of soft tissue procedures, arthrodeses and joint preserving surgery techniques. The high faculty-to-participant ratio ensures a stimulating and interactive learning experience for everyone. Registration Please use the attached registration form. Cancellation policy Until 4 weeks prior to the course, the full workshop fee will be refunded; no refund will be granted after this date. Insurance During the Synthes Educational Product Trainings, the Trainee is not covered by insurance against illness, accident or liabilities through neither Synthes nor the Host Clinic. It is the Trainee s obligation to ensure and eventually conclude sufficient valid international health, accident and liability insurance for the duration of the Educational Training. Case discussions In order to have an interactive workshop, we ask all participants to bring one of their own cases for discussion (using the provided powerpoint-file as a suggested template). No per diem or reimbursement will be paid for these short contributions.
