6 Check both shoulder and pelvis height differences Things you have to check in Front photo It is easy to distinguish because the numbers and arrows are automatically displayed. Case Analysis) - Shoulder height : Right shoulder is higher than left one. - Pelvis height : Left pelvis is higher than right one. 6

7 Confirmation of bowlegged knees and knock-knees Things you have to check in Front photo Bowlegged knee is commonly referred as O-leg, and Knock-knee is commonly referred as X-leg. It is related to arthritis in the case of elder bowlegged knee. Bodycode calculates pelvis, knee, and ankle points automatically and provides the angle information. Case Analysis) Right side : Front 6.81 Kneebend (Angle difference 13 degree) Left side : Front 4.76 Kneebend (Angle difference 16 degree) The difference in angle of the left knee is larger than the right one. You can analogize that the pelvis is tilted to the left. 9

11 Side baseline and Key point alignment Things to see in Side photo 1 Ear canal (below ear) 2 acromion (shoulder center) 3 center of hips (slightly behind) 4 Center of the knee joint 5 Ankle condyle bone (slightly in front) * It is better to measure the outer surface of the ear. 11

12 Side baseline and pelvis anterior deviation Things to see in Side photo Determine how your body s lateral indicators far away from the baseline. Case Analysis) You can check the pelvis is tilted forward, and the weight is put forward. This will strain the back muscles. (hamstring, triceps, and etc.) 12

13 Side baseline and cervical forward deviation Things to see in Side photo When the ear canal moves forward with the acromial point, it becomes typical forward head type. It compares head and shoulder points and express as a number. Case Analysis) You can see that the ear canal point is leaned forward from the baseline. It is not severe but corresponds to turtle neck. 13

18 Check the symmetry based on Back base line Things to see on Back photos Check the symmetry from the rear. Case Analysis) You can easily check that the body is leaned to the left. 18

19 Check whether both your palms are rotated Things to see on Back photos Make sure one hand shows more palms than the other. It is normal when the center line and the side of little finger is parallel. If one palm is visible a lot, the arm in that direction is turned inside. Check the space between your elbow and your side. If the space is wide, the pelvis in that direction has been mined. Case Analysis) Your right shoulder has turned inside if the right palm is slightly wider than the left palm. 19
