A combination of case-based conferences, interactive live surgical technique demonstrations and lectures in symposium format provide for an unparalleled learning exposure delivered by true masters of their fields. The Fourth Annual Summit in Seattle provides a unique learning experience of a major national meeting in a personal and fun environment while representing UW Medicine at its finest. Course Objectives Upon completion of this program, attendees should be able to: Discuss state-of-the-art care for the patient with severe musculoskeletal injuries and in particular knee injuries Describe on-going research endeavors in the field of orthopaedic trauma and knee surgery especially in areas of enhanced patient outcomes research and patient safety in orthopaedic trauma surgery and knee reconstructive surgery Describe surgical anatomy necessary for the advanced surgical techniques Discuss treatment algorithms currently in use for fractures and soft tissue injuries and knee injury care and aftercare Recognize controversies and deficiencies of current knowledge base and attempt to resolve these ACCreditation The University of Washington School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Washington School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The password for the download website will be sent with your registration confirmation . Materials will be available from July 22 - August 16, 2013, for registrants to print and/or download. A booklet with the conference agenda and pages for note-taking will be provided at the conference.

3 Fees and Registration The fee for this course includes catering, all instruction MD/DO/PhD $ materials and transcript of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. To Allied Health $75.00 ensure enrollment, please complete the enclosed registration form and forward it with the appropriate tuition. Allow up to Resident/Fellow $45.00 fifteen working days to receive your confirmation of enrollment. If you have not received confirmation prior to your departure for the course, please contact the Continuing Medical Education office at Continuing Medical Education will not be responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the course. Attendance Policy Course activities are exclusively reserved for course attendees. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced. CANCELLATION POLICY The Office of Continuing Medical Education must receive written notification of your cancellation by July 15, A $40.00 processing fee will be deducted from refund requests received by this date.
