HORST KACHELE The International Federation of Psychoanalytic Societies holds a Forum every two years hosted by Member Societies, providing an opportunity for inspiring dialogue amongst an International Community of Psychoanalysts. The next Forum of The International Federation of Psychoanalytic Societies (IFPS) will be hosted by: ISTITUTO DI PSICOTERAPIA ANALITICA DI FIRENZE NEW FACES OF FEAR. ONGOING TRANSFORMATIONS IN OUR SOCIETY AND IN PSYCHOANALYTIC PRACTICE will explore how we, as analysts, can contribute to an understanding of the role of fear in society today. The XX International Forum of Psychoanalysis invites all IFPS Members to submit proposals for individual papers and/or a panel representing papers from your Society that address the XX Forum topic. Proposals should be between words. Individual papers will be 20 minutes. Panel presentations will consist of max 4/5 papers (max. 20 minutes each), with an overview of the panel and individual abstracts.

2 All Abstracts of Individual Papers are Due by March 15, The Benedetti-Conci Prize for IFPS-Candidates: at the Forum, a prize for the best paper presented by a candidate-member on the topic of the Forum will be awarded.
