2 PURPOSE 1. To promote the culture of scientific research in the paediatric fraternity in Malaysia 2. To provide an opportunity for Malaysian researchers in the field of paediatrics and child health to exchange ideas PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Oral presentations Winner of the best oral presentations will get RM 3,000 prize money as sponsorship to attend any international meeting being held in the Asia Pacific Region. ORAL PRESENTATION All researchers in paediatrics and related fields are welcome to present their researches during the conference. Abstracts that have been presented previously in other scientific meeting, on-going research, or research proposal are all welcomed. Every researcher is welcomed to submit as many abstracts as possible. Selected abstracts for oral presentation will be informed well in advance. Time allocated for each oral presentation is 15 minutes. A panel of senior researchers will be invited to provide useful critique to oral presentations. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? All researchers in paediatrics and related fields: doctors, scientists, research assistants, nurses. Master of Paediatrics candidates are particularly welcomed to present your research to the conference before final presentation to your respective departments. LECTURES 1.
