Any course that you take that is not on this list will not count for VA OEMS credit, therefore it is the responsibility of the provider to verify and make sure a course is approved and covers the appropriate area number/category that is needed. All EMS courses in the system are approved by CECBEMS and may be used toward the National Registry, whether or not it has current VA OEMS approval.
