The Sporting Hip & Groin, is our attempt to blend the latest research, the opinion of experts in the field, and our own personal experience of current clinical concepts; to marry the art and science of management together in a clear and understandable way. This theoretical and practical evidenced based course will develop your skills in differential diagnosis, clinical reasoning, exercise selection and practical hands on treatment options. 3 COURSE OBJECTIVES After this course, participants shall be able to: 4 Have a clear understanding of the differential diagnostic process between adductor related, abdominal related and hip joint related groin pain. 4 Have a clear understanding of pattern recognition in the history taking. the reliability and validity of physical examination testing 4 Establish the reliability and validity of physical examination testing 4 Understand how the functional anatomy and biomechanics relates to the pathologies seen 4 Have an understanding of how normal and faulty movement can relate to pathology 4 Understand how manual therapy can influence movement and Physical outcome measures 4 Understand how different loading strategies and movements can influence different tissues and the decision making process around surgical / medical intervention for management of the athlete James Moore is a highly experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist. In addition to private clinical work he has worked throughout the UK, USA & Australia with professional athletes ranging from Olympic Track & Field, National & Premiership Rugby, American Football, Major League Baseball, Bodybuilders and was the medical team leader for Gloucestershire County Cricket for two years. In 2005 he took up the post of Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to the English Institute of Sport, with a special affiliation to UK Athletics. For the XXXI Olympiad Rio 2016, James was Deputy Chef de Mission Performance Services for Team GB, where he lead all sports science and sports medicine services in Rio and the Preparation Camp in Belo Horizonte. Team GB created history here, being the first nation to improve their performance at the Olympic Games after previously hosting, and furthermore they had their best ever medal tally in recent times, finishing second. James was Head of Performance for Team GB in the inaugural European Games, Baku 2015.

Regulation: 1. Acceptance and observance of the following rules are conditions for the admission and attendance to the course. 2. The enrollment in the course is not refundable in any way, except in case of cancellation of the course or force majeure, which will be examinated by the organization. The trainee is required to be utmost punctual and must keep a correct behaviour towards the instructors and the other participants. During lessons, participants must abstain from criticizing the teachers/teaching methods. Any observation or critique must be reported on the evaluation form which will be delivered at participants at the end of the lessons. 7. The participant who, because of his negligence or other direct or indirect causes, will cause damage to things or people during the course, is obliged to pay civil and penal compensation. In this eventuality, NOVAVIA PROJECT S.R.L. will be considered as an injured/wounded party. 8. Teaching material cannot be reproduced and any copy must be previously authorized by NOVAVIA PROJECT S.R.L. and by the course instructor. Audio/video recordings (where possible) must be previously authorized by the course organizers. 9. In order to achieve the Training Credits ECM the participant must: a) Attend 100% of the course training hours b) Pass the final exams (questionnaires and/or written questions) with at least 75% of correct answers and any potential requested practical exams by correctly performing the practical tecniques at the unquestionable judgement of the course instructor. 10. Medical Doctors, Physical Therapists, medicine & physiotherapy students and professionals equivalent to PT s can register for this course. 11.
