2 Page 2 Description This meeting is designed to challenge convention and present modern concepts in Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) with a view to delivering improved patient outcomes. Especially designed for expert level delegates, it focuses on better replication of the normal kinematics of the knee, the role of the anatomic joint line and the surgical principles and tips and tricks to achieve this in both BCS and CR knees. In addition, it offers in depth understanding of enabling technologies inputs to patellofemoral joints (PFJ) and unicompartmental arthroplasty (UNI). Design objectives and rationale will also be discussed in an open forum, in addition to the potential patient benefits associated with creating a knee prosthesis that resembles the normal native knee. Conducted by an internationally renowned faculty, the programme combines modules of lectures, video case commentaries and interactive panel discussion in conjunction with advanced surgical technique session in cadaveric setting.
