2 Page 2 Description Achieving the appropriate soft-tissue tension is a critical success factor for clinical outcomes in total knee replacement surgery (TKA). During this course, participants will be instructed on the essentials of balancing the knee ligaments in TKA. Clinical outcome of TKA is very much related to achieving alignment and stability. A group of experienced international orthopedic surgeons specialized in total knee arthroplasty will present and debate different approaches and related surgical techniques on how to balance the ligaments in total knee arthroplasty. During the anatomical workshop, participants will have the opportunity to perform the presented techniques. Sharing our experiences with you and giving you the opportunity to have in-depth discussion with surgical colleagues are our main goals.
