This corporation is dedicated to chiropractic research and umbrellas The Pettibon System, Inc. a design and marketing company that manufactures rehabilitation products which are distributed to health professionals. The company also markets x- ray equipment and hardware that has been designed and patented by Dr. Burl Pettibon. The Pettibon Institute has funded many research projects. The seated adjusting technique culminated in the design of the special, lightweight hand-held adjusting instrument. Dr. Pettibon developed and teaches various fulcrum ligament and muscle rehabilitation exercise procedures that are used for the musculoskeletal rehabilitation of the paravertebral soft tissues. He also designed the Pettibon Tendon Ligament Muscle Stimulator in This device is extremely successful in the removal of algo-genic exudates that cause splinting and tetany in soft tissue prior to the adjustment. From 1991 to the present time he has designed and introduced the Wobble Chair, the Linked Exercise Trainer, the Negative Z Skull on Atlas Adjuster, various traction devices, Pettibon Weighting Systems, the spinal Rejuvenation Traction Table and protocols, as well as various other spinal rehabilitation tables and devices to make the detection and correction of the vertebral subluxation both easier and more accurate. At the present time, he has over 50 products that he has designed and is marketing to professionals.

2 Professional development includes continuing studies at Western States College of Chiropractic with the following credit hours: Biochemistry 72 hours Neurophysiology 60 hours Pathology 24 hours Public Health 40 hours Clinical Nutrition 36 hours Anatomy 120 hours Pettibon-Palmer research projects, Reliability of Radiographic Patient Positioning and Repositioning, and Radiographic Analysis and Re-Analysis, were proven to be true by at least three independent doctors. The results of the study were published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics Dr. Pettibon was Director of Research at the We Care Chiropractic Clinic and Research Center in Spartanburg, S.C. and worked with Walter V. Pierce, D.C., on many major projects to benefit the chiropractic profession and other musculoskeletal health care providers Present Lecture and Extension Faculty member at Palmer College of Chiropractic and Life University, Logan College of Chiropractic, Parker College of Chiropractic, as well as, an instructor at many state conventions in the U.S. and abroad. He also teaches seminars worldwide in Spinal Bio-Mechanics and Bio-Engineering. 3 Present Dr. Pettibon continues to research. He and his wife Sharon live in their homes in Packwood Washington and in Mazatlan, Mexico He has a practice in Gig Harbor, WA to see difficult cases. He is licensed in Hawaii, Kansas, Texas, South Carolina, Washington, and Arizona. He is also an Associate Professor at Palmer College of Chiropractic.
