2 About the Sports Neuropsychology Society and the Inaugural Symposium 2013 Sports Safety Through Education The Sports Neuropsychology Society (SNS) is a new, vibrant organization whose mission is to advance the field of sports neuropsychology, to generate and disseminate knowledge regarding brain-behavior relationships as it applies to sports, and to promote the welfare of athletes at all levels. The goal of this landmark Inaugural Meeting and Clinical Symposium is to provide state-of-the-art research and clinical knowledge from internationally recognized leaders in the field of sports concussion and neuropsychology. The target audience: All healthcare professionals who treat athletes with concussion, including Neuropsychologists, Physicians, Athletic Trainers, Nurses, Physical Therapists, and those who critically interface with sports concussion issues, including school personnel and administrators, sports league executive bodies, game day officials, attorneys, and policymakers.
