Presurgical Psychological Screening (PPS), Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale 4 (WAIS IV), Weschler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT 3), Grooved Pegs Test, Finger Tapping Test, Wide Range Assessment of Memory and Learning 2 (WRAM 2). Mental Health Clinic-VA Medical Center Memphis Practicum Student. Supervisor Dr. Catherine Morton Ph.D. Primary duties include individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy within a population of diverse backgrounds and presenting diagnoses. A wide range of evidence-based interventions strategies are used (CBT, CBT-I, CPT, ACT, DBT, IBCT, and EFT). Supervisor Dr. Suzanne Lease Ph.D. & Denise Hensley, LSW Physical therapy patients are assessed for depression and anxiety, using the GAD-7 and the PHQ questionnaires respectively. Patients who exceed cutoff scores are recruited for a 5 session protocol of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in order to mitigate pain and emotional discomfort. Patients are evaluated after the protocol series for individual therapeutic needs. Assessments include Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), Generalized Anxiety Disorder Assessment (GAD-7). Cordova Psychological Associates Practicum Student Supervisor: Dr. Mary Wanat Ph.D. June-Dec 2016 Primary duties include individual therapy, diagnosing and treating autism, learning disabilities and mood disorders, optional school testing, psychological assessments.
