2 Mental Health in Civil Society Kaliningrad May 31st June 3rd 2006 The aim of the Conference is to initiate a discussion regarding the conditions, history and future for psychiatry in different countries. One important item to work around is the document and the action plan approved at the WHO Ministerial conference in Helsinki January 2005 (see We also want to connect to the Immanuel Kant tradition of the city. The Conference should be of interest to psychiatrists, other professionals and also to health care decision makers and journalists, especially in countries that presently undergo transition. Plenary lectures will be translated into English and n. Group discussions will be simultaneously translated consecutively. Documentation shall also be available on the web. Posters can be presented. The conference fee is 300 Roubles.
