4 Restoring Resilience: Meridian Therapy Resilience is the capacity to move inward, let go of trauma, despair, problems and misfortunes and keep moving forward in life. Resilient people have a calm and relaxed outlook. Instead of dwelling on past problems and negative reactions they accept themselves and uphold a strong responsibility and self-reliance. They tend to live with a spirit of self-worth and a commitment to the positive human values of love, kindness and generosity.
