I also supervised psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows in the area of psychological assessment. RESEARCH September 2001 September 2004 Clinical Psychologist-Researcher Department of Mental Health Three year research study evaluating incarcerated women with children who were dually diagnosed with a mental illness and substance abuse diagnosis. This study specifically addressed recidivism and treatment interventions in custody and post custody. August 1995 Graduate Research Assistant Conducted research examining counselor credibility and gift-giving in the development of effective treatment strategies for ethnic minorities. Research team designed an instrument to measure the extent to which certain behaviors may contribute to the continued use of counseling among various racial/ethnic groups.
