1 1 ACTIVITIES OF KARNATAKA STATE LEGAL SERVICES AUTHORITY FOR THE YEAR KSLSA issued circular to all Chairperson/s & Member Secretaries of DLSAs, TLSCs and PLAs regarding National Lok Adalat A meeting of Judicial Officers of Bangalore Unit was convened in the City Civil Court at 5-30 PM to discuss about the holding of II National Lok Adalat One day workshop was organized by DLSA, Mandya on Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection) Act 2000 at Kalamandir, Mandya. The programme was inaugurated by Hon ble Mr. Justice Huluvadi G.Ramesh, Judge, High Court of Karnataka and President, JJB Committee Hon ble EC, KSLSA visited Mysore, Mandya and Ramanagara Districts on 2 nd Feb addressed all the concerned to settle more number of cases in II National Lok Adalat Press Conference was held with Hon ble Patron-in- Chief and Hon ble Executive Chairman, KSLSA Meeting was held with claimants Advocates Meeting was held with Insurance Companies Officers and other Advocates Advertisement given to various Kannada Newspapers Meeting was held with all Judicial Officers of City Civil Court Meeting was held with BDA Commissioner Meeting was held with Corporation Officials / BBMP Commissioner.

2 Meeting was held with Sri Ravindra, Doordarshan regarding Message was telecasted through DD about the National Lok Adalat Meeting was held with Doordarshan Officers (Sri Jayachandra etc.) A meeting was held with Sri Dyaberi, Secretary to Govt., Dept. of Labour A meeting was held with Sri Gangaram Baderia, Secretary to Govt., Dept. of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj PM A meeting of Principals of all Law Colleges in Bangalore, was held with Hon ble EC Hon ble EC has written personal letters to all Brother / Sister Judges requesting them to give their message through Bangalore Doordarshan KSLSA has directed to MDs of KSRTC and BMTC to display banners (model banner was sent) and also a meeting was held with BMTC and KSRTC officers. 4 Visit of Bagalkot for lok adalat of LAC cases One day workshop was organized by Mysore DLSA on Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection) Act 2000 at Manasagangotri Senate Hall. The programme was inaugurated by Hon ble Mr. Justice Huluvadi G.Ramesh, Judge, High Court of Karnataka and President, JJB Committee Meeting with Prl. Secretaries of Higher Education, Secondary Education & Primary Education for including subjects of malnutrition, moral science and legal awareness in the school curriculum Inaugurated lok adalat of BBMP matters Meeting of judicial officers of CMM unit regarding lok Adalat. Meeting with Managing Director, Text Book Society Meeting with BDA Commissioners for settlement of cases of BDA Meeting with Commissioner of Police and Addl. Commissioner of Police Meeting with Press Conference regarding Mega Lok Adalat As per the guidelines of NALSA, 2 nd National Lok Adalat was held at High Court of Karnataka. The said programme was inaugurated by Hon ble Mr. Justice D.H.Waghela, Chief Justice, High Court of Karnataka and Patron-in-Chief, KSLSA, Hon ble Mr. Justice N.K.Patil, Judge, High Court of Karnataka and Executive Chairman, KSLSA. 2,25,663 cases was disposed in the said 2 nd National Lok Adalat Meeting with Swathi Mahila Sangha regarding transgenders Meeting with Committee of Calendar of events
