1 LIFE PROJECT PLANNER A Neuro-Construction Process to Harness your Brain for a Spectacular Life A research-based technology to get your career, business, relationships, and life on track for explosive growth. A TRANSFORMER SERIES PUBLICATION by Wright
2 LIVE LIFE WITH A BANG, One minute I m like It s my birthday, I m feeling pretty good, and the next minute I m like It s my birthday, I m 54 years old, and I have no idea what I am doing. Everything I have been I am not anymore. I am no longer actively parenting children, and I am not writing much. What was happening at that moment was the start of an existential crisis. I had driven off the edge of my own life map because it only went so far. All my external cues that told me my place in the world were gone. And I had to come up with new internal cues to take their place. And that s when I decided to start at the Wright Graduate Institute and embark in earnest on my life project. There was nothing anymore standing between me and the questions: Do I respect the person that I ve become? Am I okay with the choice that I ve made? Because if I don t and if I m not, what am I going do about it? I engaged in my studies and my own personal transformation, and the results have been astounding. I know now that the best years of my life are before me. When that caterpillar is in the process of becoming a butterfly it, goes through this stage of just being an undifferentiated mass inside the pupa. It s just this blob 2
3 of potential. What the caterpillar has going for it is that it is going to become a butterfly no matter what. It s programmed. Here s what I have realized that I have going for me; I am not programmed irreversibly. I get to decide what I am going to become or if I am going to stay an undifferentiated slime with a lot of potential. Life project means you get to create yourself. And not just at age 54, but all the time, through every decision. I am creating myself in each moment whether I am aware of it or not. The question isn t if you have a life project, because everyone does. The question is will you take it on. Will you own how everything turns out for you? And that is why I can say the best years of my life are before me. Not because I can control the future, but because I have decided to make that true. 9 I am a dynamic, creative woman running a financially thriving business. I sell by serving. I engage fully in every area of my life and bring people joy by serving them as fully as possible. People who meet me can t wait to bring me business or refer me to others because of the way that I find those people by being accountable for weekly networking and sales activity. I take joy in my pursuit of new business. 9
