1 Pst Distributin Mnitring Reprt Hygiene Kit funded by IMC Backgrund Infrmatin Lcatin: Zaatari Camp (All districts) Dates f data cllectin: 1-2 f Octber, 2014 Objective: t understand t what extent the distributin f hygiene kits, by NRC n behalf f IMC, was successful and t cllect feedback n the quality and quantity f hygiene kit distributed The PDM was a jint effrt between NRC, UNHCR and ACTED Methdlgy Questins crrespnding t the bjective were develped, and enumeratrs were trained t address questins t beneficiaries regarding quality and quantity f the hygiene kit and t reprt n any issues/difficulties during the distributin prcess Sample size: a ttal f 105 beneficiaries participated ver the perid f tw days; beneficiaries were identified at randm within the districts and taking int cnsideratin districts density when calculating the target number f beneficiaries t participate per district Criteria: in rder t guarantee that answers cllected fully reflects beneficiaries interactin/usage f hygiene kit and experience when visiting NRC site t cllect the items, the sample size was targeted tward bth females and males wh received the kit themselves PDM Figures Female 56 females ut f 105 beneficiaries participated, f thse 37 were head f husehld (HHH) Average age f participating females is 36 Average family size f participating females is 5 Male 49 males ut f 105 beneficiaries participated, f thse 40 were head f husehld (HHH) Average age f participating males is 39 Average family size f participating males is 6 PDM Fey Findings 70% f beneficiaries reprted that the quality f the hygiene kit in general is gd Only 3 beneficiaries (1 male and 2 females) reprted nt using the hygiene kit immediately and keeping it fr later use 96% f beneficiaries reprted nt facing any prblems/difficulties during the distributin prcess 77% f beneficiaries reprted that mst f the items in the hygiene kit weren t enugh cmparing t their family size N ne has reprted selling the items
