2 Dear IAGESIANS, rd It is heartening to note that the 3 Fellowship course in Advanced Laparoscopic surgery Bariatric (FALS - Bariatric) under IAGES is going to be held in Ahmedabad under the able leadership of Dr. Mahendra Narwaria. IAGES is aware of the enormous and constant evolution of Minimal Access surgery and has been in the forefront in organizing various courses & Fellowship. FIAGES, E-FIAGES, FAGIE and FALS are flagship courses of IAGES and innumerable MAS surgeons all over the country have been benefited from these courses. FALS courses on specific organ and specialties are recent additions to our academic activity. It is always a tough job to organize an advanced laparoscopic course but it is gratifying to see many stalwarts of IAGES coming forward and taking the responsibility of organizing such courses. 10 REGISTRATION GUIDELINES CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY REGISTRATION FORM CATEGORY APPLIED FOR THE FELLOWSHIP Non Examination category: Elligibility Criteria: ~ Minimum 7 years experience in Bariatric and Metabolic surgery. ~ Should have performed at least 50 Bariatric procedures independently. ~ Should attend fellowship course on all 3 days and have to appear for interview. Examination category: Elligibility Criteria: ~ Minimum 6 years experience in Laparoscopic surgery including some experience in Bariatric and Metabolic surgery. ~ Should have performed minimum of 15 Bariatric procedures independently or under supervision. ~ Should attend Fellowship course on all the 3 days. Have to appear for written examination and interview. The written examination will have 10 short essay type questions. Read all topics before coming for fellowship course.
