1 Research in Your Backyard Pharmaceutical Clinical Trials Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota Since 1999, 2,275 clinical trials have been conducted by biopharmaceutical companies in collaboration with local research institutions in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and some of them are still underway. Of the 2,275 clinical trials, 316 are still recruiting patients, giving some disease sufferers still looking for treatments that are best for them a viable alternative therapeutic option to consider and discuss with their physicians. The 316 clinical trials still recruiting patients are investigating treatments for: arthritis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, neurological disorders, infectious diseases, kidney and liver diseases, mental illnesses, respiratory disorders and many more.
