1 MEMC-GREAT 2015 JOINT CONGRESSES Roma, 5-9 Settembre 2015 Ergife Palace Hotel Via Aurelia, ROMA Scientific rationale The MEMC-GREAT 2015 represents a new partnering between the Mediterranean Academy of Emergency Medicine (MAEM), the Global Research on Acute Conditions Team (GREAT Italy) and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM), to enhance and continue the MEMC tradition. The main objective of MEMC is to develop emergency medicine across the Mediterranean basin by supporting EM pioneers and leaders around the whole Mediterranean basin, endorsing proper standards, providing training and education in Emergency Medicine, as well as promoting proper access and services for all our emergency patients around the Big Blue. For the MEMC 2015, we are inviting an exceptional line-up of world-class speakers, researchers, and educators who will give outstanding lectures, discuss clinical cases, and moderate abstract and poster presentations. We partnered with the exceptional Global Research on Acute Conditions Team Italy Network (GREAT Italy) to promote EM through its academic and research European and International related interdisciplinary circles. This will add innovation and special flavor to the MEMC, which we confidently believe shall provide exceptional momentum and value to the MEMC, its speakers and participants.
