ABIM Maintenance of Certification: Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC Points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points. TO RECEIVE ABIM MOC POINTS: At the end of the evaluation please select the CME Certificate with Self-Assessment for ABIM MOC Medical Knowledge Points (ABIM Diplomates only) in order to then be directed to the reflective statement. On the Reflective Statement page you ll be asked to provide a detailed summary of what you learned at the course and specifically describe what you will change in your current practice. Alternatively, if you plan to maintain your current practice, you ll need to describe why. After completion of the reflective statement, you will be directed to a page where you will indicate your total hours of course attendance, your ABIM ID Number, and your Date of Birth.

13 On your confirmation page you will be provided a summary of the key learning points and next best steps to make in your practice as outlined by the Course Director to evaluate the response you provided for the reflective statement. 30 days post course, the HMS office and Course Directors will review the reflective statement provided to ensure clarity and completeness. Once reviewed and approved, your MOC Points will be reported directly to the ABIM. HMS will not share with the ABIM your reflective statement. Points can still be awarded after 30 days post course. Please contact ceprograms@hms.harvard.edu to confirm we have received your post-test if you have completed it after 30 days post course. PLEASE NOTE: The ABIM will not allow HMS to upload points after December 31st of the course calendar year. All posttests must be completed by December 15 th of the course calendar year. 8. Risk Management Credit: This activity meets the criteria of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine for Please check with your individual state licensing board requirements before claiming risk management credits. 9. Evaluations: HMS utilizes an electronic course evaluation system. A link to access the evaluation will be sent to you via . The final question of the course evaluation will ask what type of certificate you need to claim.
