The institute is an essential reference centre in Europe and a leader in French-speaking Belgium. The institute supports all types of cancer in adults and children. We fight against cancer by providing comprehensive and taking human responsibility of the patient. Our quest for excellence is reflected in the three academic areas: clinical care, research and teaching. The Prostate Cancer Unit is a multidisciplinary/multiprogessionnal entity fully devoted to Prostate Cancer diagnosis and treatment. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Because the motto of our unit is treating the cancer without hurting the patient, we also offer a wide array of supportive care and give a great importance to personalised support. This includes physical training, sexual counselling, diet, psychological support. We are equipped with the latest technologies (robot, focal therapy, tomotherapy) and conduct a portfolio of more than 20 clinical trials covering all stages of the disease.
