Be able to understand the underlying pathology causing IPJ ulcerations, the nonsurgical treatment for the condition and surgical treatment options as well. 4. Should be able to understand the importance of debridement in wound care, understand various basic debriding principles, and also learn new techniques to perform wound debridement in the office and OR 5. The treating physician will be able to correctly diagnose peripheral neuropathy utilizing the latest state of the art technologies and will be aware of the most up to date methods for treating peripheral neuropathy.

Attendees will learn the latest in 1st MPJ implant technology and advancements and will be able to identify patients who may and may not be candidates for 1st MPJ implants. 5. Attendee will be given information on the indications and performance of the Lapidus procedure. 6. To reinforce clinical and radiographic evaluation for procedure selection, then evaluate codeformities and effect on the procedure, and present operating techniques to increase operative efficiency and improve outcomes. 7.
