5 Meeting Information Resident/Fellow Members and Medical Students Activities Posters prepared by Resident Members and Medical Students will be presented at the meeting for the local ACP Chapter Competition. Winners will receive prizes and be eligible for entrance into the ACP National Competition held during Internal Medicine Meeting Posters will be judged on Thursday evening, November 2. Posters will be on display until Saturday afternoon after lunch. On Thursday evening, following the poster judging, Residents from Oregon training programs will present oral presentations just following dinner. Please sign up to attend this dinner. Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to: Apply updated knowledge of internal medicine to clinical practice. Improve clinical practice by incorporating major new developments in subspecialty medicine. Understand recent advances in internal medicine. Increase confidence in performing clinical skills. These individuals uphold the high ideals and professional standards for which the College is known. These awards will be presented during the luncheon on Friday, November 2, CME Accreditation and MOC Points The American College of Physicians is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The American College of Physicians designates this live activity for a maximum of 14 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 14 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
