Originally this was a twelve bed unit where I managed all of the post operative critically ill patients. After the first year I became Chairmen of the entire department. Now I manage and direct 36 Critical Care Beds with a team of Advanced Care Providers and three FTEs and two.5 FTEs of physicians. 15% of my practice is devoted to Leadership and Administration.
