7 Venue Prague is the largest and the capital city of the Czech Republic. It is situated on the Vltava River in the north-west of the country. Prague is known as the Jewel in the Crown of Central Europe and is regarded by many as one of Europe s most charming, colorful and beautiful cities. Prague is a modern and vibrant city full of energy, music, cultural art, fine dining and special events catering to the independent traveler s thirst for adventure. Since 1992, the extensive historic center of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
