2 Course summary Course description This 2.5 day program will provide clinical education for NPs, PAs, fellows and junior faculty caring for blood and marrow transplant patients. At the end of the course, attendees will leave with a comprehensive syllabus, a selfassessment, and a deeper understanding of the diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic treatments for acute and chronic complications of blood and marrow transplantation. Learning objectives Upon completion of this activity, attendees should be able to: Describe the diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic modalities available for common acute complications of blood and marrow transplant patients. CME/CE credit designation statement The University of Washington School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Washington School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Integrate guideline-based treatments into clinical practice while personalizing care appropriately for the patient. Intended audience Nurse practitioners, physician assistants, fellows and other providers with a hematology/oncology focus who desire a review and update in current standards of care for hematopoietic cell transplant patients.
