After participating in this meeting, attendees should be armed with some best practices that can be readily implemented in their current practices. They should also gain an awareness of how future trends and developments will shape their future patient care and practice management endeavors. Analyze advances in ophthalmic medical research & determine implications for physicians & patients. Outline advances in the specialty areas of retina, cornea, cataracts, & neuro-ophthalmology Assess the impact, need, and opportunities for global delivery of ophthalmologic care Determine the impact of social media on your ophthalmology practice.
