2 GLAUCOMA UPDATE in the Napa Valley Napa, California The Glaucoma fellowship in the Napa Valley is intended to provide practicing general ophthalmologists with a yearly update on glaucoma by providing clinical and evidencebased updates in a setting conducive to learning. OBJECTIVES Based on discussions with UCSF faculty and practicing physicians at other institutions, the topics were chosen based on physicianidentified need for practice-based knowledge. An attendee completing this course should be able to: Incorporate new techniques in the management and treatment of glaucoma patients; Incorporate the best available evidence and recent clinical research to improve patient assessment and treatment approaches; Improve clinical confidence through application of recent advances in ophthalmology. ACCREDITATION The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. UCSF designates this live activity for a maximum of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This CME activity meets the requirements under California Assembly Bill 1195, continuing education and cultural and linguistic competency.
