2 PROGRAM GOALS AND OBJECTIVES The North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System CME Activities are designed to lead to improved patient care. At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to: 1. Evaluate and diagnose pediatric sleep apnea, predisposing conditions and management options. 2. Diagnose and manage infections processes affecting the sinuses and the ears with recognition of the possible complications. 3. Implement an effective screening program for hearing loss in children and understand the pathophysiology of sensorineural hearing loss. TARGET AUDIENCE Pediatricians, Family Practitioners, Residents in Pediatrics, Family Medicine and Otolaryngology. Nurse Practitioners in these specialty areas. CME ACCREDITATION North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor Continuing Medical Education for physicians. The North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System designates this educational activity for a maximum of 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicans should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Verification of Attendance will be provided to all professionals.
