Sheldon founded Medisys in 1987 with the vision of using preventive medicine to positively impact and enrich people s lives and to treat health issues before they became major medical problems. Dr. Vivien Brown, Vice-President of Medical Affairs. Vivien is an internationally-recognized leader in healthy aging and brain health. She was awarded Family Physician of the Year in 2012 by the Ontario College of Family Physicians, led the Federation of Medical Women in Canada (FWMC), and is on the board of directors of Women s Brain Health Initiative. Dr. Jay Keystone, Director of Travel Health Services. Jay is a professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto and a world-renowned travel health expert specializing in tropical and infectious disease. In 2015, he was invested in the Order of Canada in recognition of his work. Crystal Higgins, RD, Senior Nutrition Consultant. Crystal is a Registered Dietitian and nutrition consultant. Crystal has been the feature dietitian on numerous television programs and has been a nutrition tour leader in BC promoting healthy living in schools and facilitating corporate lunch and learns. As a marathon runner and BCRPA certified fitness instructor, she is passionate about the balance between nutrition and exercise and consults her clients on how to achieve this balance to reach their athletic goals. Stacy Irvine, Chiropractic Doctor, Senior Fitness Advisor. Stacy is a published expert on the relationship between preventive health and exercise, and lectures regularly on topics related to sports medicine. Stacy helps her clients achieve their fitness and athletic goals through providing advanced rehabilitation and fitness training programs as well as personalized fitness coaching with a focus on injury prevention and preventive health.
