6 WHAT S YOUR BMI? Body Mass Index (BMI) is a guide to determine whether you are a healthy bodyweight. A high BMI indicates that you may be overweight, which means you may be at higher risk of developing health problems, such as heart disease 3. As part of your free 9 Point Heart Health Check, your Amcal pharmacist will calculate your BMI based on your height and weight, which may be measured in a private consultation area.
