Along with established medical, office and retailers serving the area, such as WalMart, Home Depot and Sam s Club, there have been a considerable number of new developments in the immediate vicinity including a Publix, two movie theaters, Frames n Games bowling, Longhorn Steakhouse, Fatz Café, Cheddar s Restaurant, Lowe s and multifamily housing. The Savannah Chatham Public School System also just constructed a new K-8 grade school within Godley Station that opened in August The area s amenities are supported with a population reaching 280,000 within a 30 minute drive time along with high traffic counts from major thoroughfares that support the 13 hotels with over 1,300 rooms that are located nearby.
