To help put the above information into context, pleae note the following: Total item do not repreent the number of patient which thee medication were precribed to. Strictly peaking you cannot obtain from epact (our data ource) thi information. However, it doe give you an idea. An item i one named drug on a precription form for one patient. An item could be, e.g. Venlafaxine x 28 tablet for that patient. The ame patient could have next time Venlafaxine x 56 tablet. Thi i till one item. Again, if the ame patient had Venlafaxine x 28 tablet and x 28 tablet on the ame precription form thi i two item. (- if poible and it fit within the financial limit, pleae break down the number of precription for anti-depreant and anti-anxietie into gender and age) NHS Wet Kent CCG i unable to provide data at thi level a the information i not available.
