HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Emergency Overview: Light blue liquid with an alcohol odor. Flammable liquid and vapor. Poison. Corrosive. May be fatal or cause blindness if swallowed. Causes eye, skin and mucous membrane burns. May cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness and other symptoms of central nervous system depression. May be harmful if absorbed through the skin. Prolonged or repeated overexposure may cause effects on vision, liver and kidneys. 2 4. FIRST AID MEASURES Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, have qualified person administer oxygen. Obtain immediate medical attention. Skin contact: Wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove all contaminated clothing. Obtain immediate medical attention. Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 30 minutes. Obtain immediate medical attention. Ingestion: Call a physician or Poison Control Centre immediately. If victim is conscious, rinse mouth with a small amount of water. Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do not induce vomiting. 5.
