2 SEIZURES EFFECTED IN THE ONTH OF AY, 2015 On , officers of NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s DHL Express Pvt. Ltd., Kirti Nagar, New Delhi and seized 285 gram of. The drug was concealed in 04 sheets of laces. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Nigeria. On , officers of NCB, Chandigarh Zonal Unit in association with STF, Haryana Police seized kg of Opium along with Currency of Rs.19,40,000/ at Sirsa. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, New Delhi seized kg of at Sector 7, Dwarka, New Delhi. 01 Nigerian National was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit seized kg of Ganja, 79 gram of Hashish and 160 milligram of LSD. 06 foreign nationals (04 Nigerian, 01 Burundian & 01 Ivory Coastian) were arrested. On , officers of NCB, andi Sub Zone in association with Himachal Pradesh Police destroyed illicit opium poppy cultivation spread over 05 Bighas (1 acres) of land at village Chhota Kandi, District andi and booked 01 case. On , officers of NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s DHL Express Pvt. Ltd., Kirti Nagar, New Delhi and seized 600 gram of. The drug was concealed inside the machinery gear shaft. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Canada. On , officers of NCB, Lucknow Zonal Unit seized 50 gram of at Chinhat Chauraha, Lucknow, 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Dehradun Sub Zone destroyed illicit opium cultivation spread over acres of land (0.632 acres on private land & acres on Government land) at Village Sandool, Tehsil Nainbag, District Tehri, Uttrakhand. On , officers of NCB, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit seized kg of Hashish at Geeta andir, Ahmedabad. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, umbai Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s DHL Express India Pvt Ltd, Andheri (E), umbai and seized 600 gram of escaline. The drug was concealed between layers of rectangular cardboard wrapped with laces. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Netherland. On , officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics, P&I Cell, Ratlam seized kg of Opium at andsaur. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Indore Zonal Unit seized 670 gram of at DharIndore Road. The drug was concealed in the slippers. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Chennai Zonal Unit seized 190 gram of Cocaine at Eranvur, Chennai. 01 Nigerian national arrested. On & , officers of NCB, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit intercepted 24 parcels at Post Office, Ahmedbad and seized 5260 tablets of Zolpidem, tablets & kg (loose tablets) of Alprazolam, 4180 tablets & injections of Diazepam, 6470 tablets of Lorazepam, 6110 tablets of Clonazepam, 25 injections of Ketamine Hydrochloride, 1100 tablets of Acetaminophen & Codeine Phosphate, 270 tablets of Oxycodone & Acetamine, 330 tablets of Hydrocodone Ditartrate & Acetaminophen and 770 tablets of Zopiclone. 03 persons were arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was USA & Europe. On officers of NCB, andi Sub Zone in coordination with local police destroyed illicit poppy cultivation spread over acres on Government land at village Swad under GP Sudhar, andi. On , officers of NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit seized 2940 tablets of Alprazolam, 93 tablets of Lorazepam & 30 tablets of Zolpidem from four parcels at Return Letter Office (RLO), Jhandewalan, New Delhi. The drug was concealed in cartoon parcel wrapped with brown tape and three brown envelops. The suspected destination of the seized drug was USA. On , officers of NCB, Jammu Zonal Unit intercepted a vehicle at Ban Toll Plaza, Nagrota, Jammu and seized kg of Hashish. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of Goa Police seized 0.43 gram of LSD at Bardez, Goa. 01 Nigerian national was arrested. On , acting on information provided by NCB, Chennai Zonal Unit, the officers of NCB, Hyderabad Sub Zone seized kg of at L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad. 02 persons were arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Kuwait. On , officers of NCB, adurai Sub Zone seized kg of Alprazolam powder at Thalavaipuram, Virudhanagar. 03 persons were arrested. During the month of ay, 2015, officers of the Customs, FPO, New Delhi intercepted 03 parcels containing 500 gram of. The suspected destinations of seized drugs were United Kingdom & Netherland. During the month of ay, 2015, officers of the Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) seized kg of Hashish, kg of Ganja & 64 gram of in 07 cases and arrested 07 persons

4 including 02 Nepalese nationals. The suspected source of the seized drugs in most of these cases was Nepal. SEIZURES EFFECTED EARLIER BUT REPORTED IN AY, 2015 On , officers of Anti Narcotics Cell, aharashtra Police, Pune seized 151 gram of Cocaine at Camp, Pune. 01 West African national was arrested. On , officers of Coast Guard Ship Sangram intercepted a suspicious boat at International aritime Boundary Line (IBL) apprehended 08 national crew members along with 232 kg of and handed over to Yellow Gate Police Station, umbai for further investigation under NDPS Act. 08 national were arrested.
