2 SEIZURES EFFECTED IN THE ONTH OF ARCH, 2015 On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit in association with State Excise & State Police destroyed illicit opium cultivation spared over 25 acres of land under PS- English Bazar, District alda, West Bengal. On , officers of NCB, Zonal Unit seized 450 gram of ephedrone near Tagore Garden etro Station, New. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of the 105 th Bn., BSF, KSWALA, Ferozpur, Punjab seized kg of and handed over to NCB s Amritsar Sub Zone for further investigation under NDPS Act. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of NCB Imphal Sub Zone along with Field G team of 54 th Bn., BSF, Imphal seized 105 gram of, kg of Ganja & Currency of Rs.1,17,090/- at Village Joljam, BPO Koite, PS Churachandpur, anipur. The suspected source of the seized drug was yanmar. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit in association with State Excise & State Police destroyed illicit opium cultivation spared over 30 acres of land under PS Old ald, District alda, West Bengal. On , officers of NCB, Jodhpur Zonal Unit intercepted a vehicle at Chandrabhaga Tol Naka, Jhalawar and seized kg of Ganja. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of the 67 th Bn., BSF, Ram Tirth, Amritsar, Punjab seized kg of suspected Narcotic Drug and handed over to NCB s Amritsar Sub Zone for further investigation under NDPS Act. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit in association with State Excise & State Police destroyed illicit opium cultivation spread over 21 acres of land under PS Chanchal, District alda, West Bengal and booked 02 cases. On , officers of NCB, Goa Sub Zone seized 200 LSD papers (5.10 gram) at Assagao, Goa. 03 persons including 02 juvenile were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit in association with State Excise & State Police destroyed illicit opium cultivation spread over acres of land under PS Kaliachak, District alda, West Bengal and booked 02 cases. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit in association with State Excise & State Police destroyed illicit opium cultivation spread over 50 acres of land under PS Baishnabnagar, District alda, West Bengal and booked 01 case. On , officers of NCB, umbai Zonal Unit intercepted 03 parcels at /s DHL Express Courier, Andheri (E), umbai and seized kg of Ketamine. The drug was concealed in front & back cover of folders. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Zambia. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit in association with State Excise & State Police destroyed illicit opium cultivation spread over 44 acres of land under PS Baishnabnagar, District alda, West Bengal and booked 02 cases.

3 On , Acting on the information provided by NCB, Ajmer Sub Zone the officers of NCB, Zonal Unit intercepted 08 parcels at Thana Gazi Sub Post Office, District Alwar, Rajasthan and seized kg of Ganja. On , officers of Goa Police seized 87 gram of & 0.3 gram papers of LSD at Tiswadi, Goa. 01 Nepal national was arrested. On , officers of the 50 th Bn., BSF, Khasa, Amritsar, Punjab seized kg of and handed over to NCB s Amritsar Sub Zone for further investigation under NDPS Act. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of NCB, Imphal Sub Zone along with NAB, anipur Police and 7 th J&K Light Infantry seized the kg of orphine along with Currency of Rs.2,00,000/- at Bishnupur, anipur. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, umbai Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s Bombino Courier, Andheri (E), umbai and seized kg of Amphetamine. The drug was concealed in the packets of Basmati Rice. The suspected destination of the seized drug was United Kingdom. On , officers of Customs Preventive Post, Agartala Airport, Agartala seized bottles of Phensedyl cough syrup at Agartala. The drug was packed in sacks and boxes staked up in truck. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Bangladesh. On , officers of NCB, Zonal Unit seized kg of Pseudo Ephedrine at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New. 02 South African nationals were arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was South Africa. On , officers of the 24 th Assam Rifles, Imphal apprehended 01 person and seized 77 gram of and handed over to NCB s Imphal Sub Zone for further investigation under the NDPS Act. 01 person was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was yanmar. On , officers of 24 th Assam Rifles, Imphal apprehended 01 person and seized 15 gram of and handed over to NCB s Imphal Sub Zone for further investigation under the NDPS Act. 01 person was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was yanmar. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit seized kg of Opium & kg of at Basistha Chariali, Beltola, Guwahati. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of 87 th Bn., BSF, Amarkot, Punjab seized 455 gram of and handed over to NCB s Amritsar Sub Zone for further investigation under NDPS Act. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit along with State Administration and Local Police destroyed illicit opium cultivation spread over acres (16 hectares) of land at Shivaji Nagar, Loilang and ekialiang areas in Lohit district, Arunachal Pradesh. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit along with State Administration and Local Police destroyed illicit opium cultivation spread over acres (20 hectares) of land at Tafragam and Changliang areas under Tezu circle in Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh.

4 On , acting on the information provided by NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit, the officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit seized 38 blots (0.5 gram) of LSD from the residential premises at Radhnath Chowdhury Road, Kolkata. 01 person was arrested who was wanted in NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit case No.48/1/6/2014/BZU. On , officers of NCB, Zonal Unit in coordination with Customs, IGI Airport, New conducted a joint operation and seized kg of Cocaine from the possession of 02 South African nationals. The drug was concealed in the false bottom and upper layers of their suitcases. Officers of NCB, Zonal Unit also intercepted 01 Ghanian national at IGI Airport who was the suspected recipient of the drug. 02 South African & 01 Ghanian nationals were arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Brazil. On , officers of NCB, Zonal Unit apprehended an Afghan national at IGI, Airport, New and seized 68 strips (10 tablets in each strip) of Zolpedam tablets from his possession. He was arrested. The drug was concealed in a bag. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Afghanistan. On , officers of NCB, Lucknow Zonal Unit destroyed illicit opium cultivation spread over Hectare (1 Biswa 4 dhur) in Plot No. 457, Khasra No. 287 of Village Adalpura, PS Chunar, District irzapur, Uttar Pradesh. On , officer of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Chennai seized 50 kg of Amphetamine Type Stimulants (ATS) at Padiayanallur, near Veeramakali temple, Chennai. 05 persons were arrested. On , officers of the 67th Bn., BSF, Ram Tirth, Punjab seized kg of and handed over to NCB s Amritsar Sub Zone for further investigation under the NDPS Act. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit seized 10 ml of LSD (liquid), 439 gram of sugar cubes laced with LSD, 3 gram of DA and 117 gram of mixture containing DA & ephedrone at Bengaluru. 03 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s DHL Express Pvt. Ltd., Rama Road, near Kirti Nagar etro Station, and seized kg of Opium. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Canada. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, uzaffarpur seized 50 kg of Hashish at uzaffarpur. The suspected source of the seized drug was Nepal. On , officers of NCB, Zonal Unit seized 377 gram of at Automated ail Processing Centre, IGI Airport, New. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Spain. On , officers of NCB, Zonal Unit seized 190 gram of Ganja at Automated ail Processing Centre, IGI Airport, New. The suspected destination of the seized drug was USA. On , officers of NCB, Zonal Unit seized kg of Cocaine at IGI Airport, New. The drug was concealed inside the body of accused in the form of 65 small packets/pellets, each were wrapped in cellophane paper. 01 South African national was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Brazil.

5 On , officers of NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit seized kg of Ganja at Bangalore City Railway Station. On , officers of NCB, adurai Sub Zone seized kg of Hashish at Virudhnagar District, Tamil Nadu. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of Customs, Darjeeling, West Bengal seized kg of Hashish at Darjeeling. 02 persons including 01 Nepal national were arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Nepal. During the month of arch, 2015, officers of the Customs, FPO, New intercepted 02 parcels containing 300 gram of Opium & 13 gram of Ketamine. The suspected destinations of seized drugs were United Kingdom & France. During the month of arch, 2015, officers of the Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) seized kg of Hashish, 207 kg of Ganja, 159 gram of & 10 gram of Opium in 06 cases and arrested 06 persons including 03 Nepal nationals. The suspected source of the seized drugs in most of these cases was Nepal. *********
