MORPHABOND ER (morphine sulfate) extended-release tablets, CII is a strong prescription pain medicine that contains an opioid (narcotic) that is used to manage pain severe enough to require daily, around-the-clock, long-term treatment with an opioid when other pain treatments such as non-opioid pain medicines or immediate-release opioid medicines do not treat your pain well enough or you cannot tolerate them. is a long-acting (extended-release) opioid pain medicine that can put you at risk for overdose and death. Even if you take your dose correctly as prescribed you are at risk for opioid addiction, abuse and misuse that can lead to death. is not for use to treat pain that is not around-the-clock. What is important information I should know about? Get emergency help right away if you take too much (morphine sulfate) extended-release tablets, for oral use, CII (overdose). When you first start taking, when your dose is changed, or if you take too much (overdose), serious or life-threatening breathing problems that can lead to death may occur.

2 CHRONIC PAIN IS PERSONAL If you suffer from chronic pain, you are not alone. Millions of people experience chronic pain, but it affects each person differently. Because chronic pain is pain lasting more than 3 months, dealing with it can be difficult and frustrating. Your healthcare professional gave you a prescription for a medicine to help with your chronic pain. Your healthcare professional chose What is important information I should know about? (continued) Taking with other opioid medicines, benzodiazepines, alcohol, or other central nervous system depressants (including street drugs) can cause severe drowsiness, decreased awareness, breathing problems, coma, and death. It is used to manage pain severe enough to require daily, around-the-clock, long-term treatment with an opioid, when other pain treatments such as non-opioid pain medicines or immediate-release opioid medicines do not treat your pain well enough or you cannot tolerate them. ER means extended release. With extended-release opioids, also known as long-acting opioids, the medicine is released more slowly than other pain medicines and is expected to last for a longer period of time. 12 HRS helps your chronic pain by providing relief for about 12 hours after each dose is taken Call your healthcare professional if the dose you are taking does not control your pain. 3 HOW TO TAKE 12 HRS Take your prescribed dose every 12 hours, as directed by your healthcare professional. Do not take more than your prescribed dose. If you miss a dose, take your next dose at the usual time Swallow whole. Do not cut, break, chew, crush, dissolve, snort, or inject it because this may cause you to overdose and die Do not change your dose. Take exactly as prescribed by your healthcare professional. Use the lowest dose possible for the shortest time needed Do not stop taking without talking to your healthcare professional Important things to know about Even if you take your dose correctly as prescribed, you are at risk for opioid addiction, abuse, and misuse that can lead to death Call your healthcare professional if the dose you are taking does not control your pain After you stop taking, flush any unused tablets down the toilet Never give anyone your. 4 WHAT TO TELL YOUR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL Before taking, tell your healthcare professional if you have a history of: Head injury Seizures Liver, kidney, or thyroid problems Problems urinating Pancreas or gallbladder problems Abuse of street or prescription drugs Alcohol addiction Mental health problems Tell your healthcare professional if you are: Pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Prolonged use of during pregnancy can cause withdrawal symptoms in your newborn baby that could be life-threatening if not recognized and treated Breastfeeding.
