2 It is helpful to have a feedback system to know where we are in terms of health and so we can determine what adjustments we might need to make to our diet lifestyle and actude to life. Being aware of our body and being able to listen to our body provides the basis for a feedback system. It is healthy to be aware without making comparisons or using this exercise to become obsessed with our state of health.
3 INTUITION TRUST ENJOY YOURSELF AWARENESS SENSITIVITY
4 Living in our bodies. Being sen(ent, feeling, connected Beings. Engaging with ourselves. Exploring our rela(onships with the world we inhabit. Describe, rather than judge or analyze.
5 EXERCISE Take regular exercise and use this to create an awareness of your current condi6on. How can you exercise for? When do you feel out of breath?
6 PULSE Get to know your pulse rate and try taking your pulse before, during and a?er exercise. See how long it takes your pulse to return to its res6ng rate a?er exercise. Try taking your pulse before and a liale while a?er ea6ng. Does your pulse increase more with richer meals? Does your pulse increase a?er a big meal? Does your pulse increase a?er consuming coffee, sugary foods or alcohol?
7 SLEEP Use your sleep paaerns to get useful feedback on your current state. Be aware of whether you get a full nights sleep without interrup6ons. Note any dreams and see if they reflect your current emo6onal state. Do you sleep in one solid block or two segments?
8 CRAVINGS Be aware of any strong cravings for food. Try to feel where the craving is coming from. Is it nutri6onal, emo6onal or habitual? How could you best address cravings using healthy natural foods?
9 SEXUAL VITALITY Be aware of your sexual appe6te and aware of any nutri6onal, emo6onal or other factors that play a part in your sexual vitality.
10 APPETITE FOR LIFE Be aware of how your general appe6te for life changes through different phases in life. Do you s6ll feel enthusias6c, passionate, curious, engaged, and generally have a love of life.
11 WEIGHT If appropriate be aware of your weight and size. Be sensi6ve to how you clothes fit you. Enjoy seeing that beau6ful you, in the mirror. Gauge whether your diet is in some kind of balance with your lifestyle, exercise and ac6vi6es.
12 DIGESTION Be aware of your diges6on a?er ea6ng. Is there any pains, bloa6ng, wind or discomfort? Can you feel your food in you stomach and intes6nes? Use this to gain direct feedback on how different meals and your ea6ng habits affect your diges6on.
13 BOWEL MOVEMENTS Use your bowel movements to gain further feedback of your food. Find out how long it takes food to pass through your diges6ve system by swallowing corn on the cob cornels whole and observing how long it is before they appear in your stools.
14 URINE Observing the frequency of urina6on and the color of your urine is a useful feedback on whether you are drinking sufficient fluids or taking in too much. Clear, could be an indica6on of consuming too much liquid. Dark, suggests drinking too liale.
15 FEEL YOUR BODY Meditate by feeling each breath. Once relaxed start to explore every part of your body being aaen6ve to anything you feel. Start at your toes and slowly move your awareness up through your body to your shoulders. Move from your fingers up to your neck and head. Try this daily so you become aware of how your body changes from one day to the next.
16 FEEL YOUR EMOTIONS Meditate by feeling each breath to calm your mind. Be aware of your emo6onal state. Describe rather than judge or analyze. Try this daily so you become aware of how your emo6ons changes from one day to the next.
17 CHECK YOUR MIND Be sensi6ve to your mind. How are you thinking? Is you mind clear, decisive, imagina6ve, s6mulated, fast, busy, ac6ve, calm, focused, contempla6ve?
18 FEEL YOUR ENERGY What is the first place in your body you are aware of? Place your hand there. Does your energy generally feel as though it is moving up, down, outwards or inwards?
19 STRETCHING Develop a stretching rou6ne to help you be aware of how elas6c you are. Be aware of any changes in s6ffness and see if you can relate this to changes in posture, diet, emo6ons or lifestyle.
20 ACID OR ALKALINE? Use ph strips or s6cks to measure your saliva and urine in terms of your ph. Keep a record and be aware of what kind of foods and emo6ons affect your ph balance.
21 SKIN Be aware of the condi6on of your skin. Try tes6ng it for elas6city by pulling the skin on the top of your hands and releasing. Roll the skin between your fingers to see how much fat is aaached to it. Scrub your skin with a hot damp towel and observe which areas change color the easiest.
22 SWEATING Be aware of any changes in swea6ng. Do your body smells change a?er ea6ng certain foods? Make a note of any tendency for your palms to become clammy. Do you have night sweats?
23 IRON Try pressing your on your fingernails and observe how quickly the flesh underneath returns to its normal color when you release the pressure. Try this test if you feel weak or 6red and see if it takes longer for the flesh under your fingernail to return to its normal color. Observe the color of your lips and inner lower eye lid. Are they paler?
24 IMMUNE SYSTEM Keep track of how o?en you become ill and use this as a measure of how strong your immune system is. Does your immune system get regular exercise?
25 FACE READING Look at yourself in the mirror and be aware of your face. You can make a simple daily face reading. Does your skin have a healthy color? Do you have a darkness below your eyes that comes a goes with 6redness? Do your lips appear pale when you are 6red?
26 ACUPRESSURE POINTS Try pressing on various acupressure points. Be aware of how sensi6ve they are. Do some point feel more sensi6ve today?
