2 - Development of context-specific adolescent program communication material. - Successful implementation of Kishoree Kontha project on adolescent girls empowerment using randomized evaluation method. - Replication of lessons learned from adolescent programming to other programs within organization. From November, 2002 to April 2004 Worked as Program Manager, Community Response, NGO Service Delivery Program (NSDP), Save the Children USA, Bangladesh Country Office. - Identify and analyze the gaps/ barriers/ problems in health services providing by the USAID funded community-based clinics. - Develop strategies to increase the utilization of centre-based health care services. - Assess and ensure community responses through bringing changes in health care seeking behaviors. - Assist in developing Behavior Change Communication strategies/ materials for the community on child and newborn health. - Piloting and replicate Positive Deviance Inquiry (PDI) and Community-defined quality (CDQ) to enable the community to be involved in planning, implementation and monitoring health services. - Providing support to those NGOs in processing community engagement for their sustainability. - Assistance in designing pro-poor service and BCC strategy for NSDP. -Conduction of a qualitative study on Identification of the perceptions about the health services provided by those clinics and the barriers in accessing those services, faced by the poorest segment of the community in Bangladesh (published by SC). -Experience of working with a multi-partnership with international and national organizations, in a diversified and challenging project - NSDP. From June, 1997 to October, 2002 Worked as Senior Medical Officer in Health Program, BRAC, Bangladesh. -Planning, organizing and implementing training courses for the health professionals at different levels on different health issues, especially on reproductive health. -Providing technical assistance in program planning, implementation and quality improvement of BRAC Health and Nutrition program. -Worked as the national core trainer of Govt. Bangladesh Integrated Nutrition Project (BINP). -Assessing training needs, developing and revising training curriculum along with different training materials. -Follow up, monitoring and supervision of health related training courses. -Providing health related technical assistance to other programs of BRAC. -Coordination within and outside BRAC and also with GOB, as required.
3 -Working experience of community-based nutrition program of BRAC (funded by World Bank & Govt.), a model of GO-NGO collaboration in Bangladesh. -Working experience of Reproductive Health program of BRAC (funded by DFID) throughout Bangladesh. From July, 1996 to May, Worked as Consultant of OXFAM (UK & I) in Bangladesh. - Assess training needs and develop training module on Emergency Health Response for health professionals and Production of oral saline in emergency packet for health workers. - Developed training modules on Production of oral saline in emergency packet and Emergency Health Response which are being used by the partners of OXFAM (UK & I). - Worked as master trainer for the courses on Emergency Health Response.
