2 Dear business partners, It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 5 th International Video Workshop (IVW) on Radical Surgery in Gynaecological Oncology endorsed by the ESGO that will be held in Prague, April 21-23, 2016 The meeting is already the fifth edition of this workshop, which is held every two years. All events were very successful with close to 400 participants representing 60 European, American, Asian as well as African countries and inspired other national or local meetings which used similar format. The main aim of the meeting is to focus on manual skills, present new techniques and technology and demonstrate practical tips and recommendations in surgery. Four previous editions were highly evaluated by participants due to a direct focus on surgery, specific format based on video presentations, but also selection of top speakers with ability to share their skills and experience with the audience. We expect about 400 participants to attend. About 20 leading surgeons representing open, laparoscopic and robotic approaches are invited from Japan, Europe and the USA. To make the program innovative we plan to introduce new session formats in 2016 such as debates on actual surgical topics presented by leading opinion leaders and pre-congress hands-on courses.
