1 Expand your in-office treatment options for sinusitis The Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System is simple and cost-effective Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System
2 Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System A Fast and Effective In-Office Procedure Dilation of the sinus ostia using the SinuSys Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System is a unique and cost effective approach for the treatment of sinusitis. Because it s natural and gradual, osmotic expansion is highly tolerable for patients while providing immediate establishment of ostial patency. The simple procedure can be done under local (in many cases, topical) anesthesia with minimal procedure and recovery time. How it Works The SinuSys Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System delivers simple, low-pressure sinus dilation using a unique osmotic self-expanding technology. Simple two-step insertion and removal Gradual, low-pressure osmotic expansion Designed for maximum patient tolerability under local anesthesia Minimal recovery time Demonstrated patency Learn more about the Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System at or call SINUSYS.
3 Who Can Benefit The Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System offers patients with recurrent or early stage chronic disease a quick and comfortable means to restore sinus ventilation and drainage and potentially eliminate the need for prolonged repetitive medical therapy or more invasive surgical treatments. Simple to Use In the Office Getting started with the Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System requires minimal investment in equipment and training. The simple procedure integrates well into a busy office environment. The gradual, low pressure expansion allows for minimal application of local anesthetics many patients can be treated topically. One-handed mechanism allows physicians to place the device without assistance. Once the device is placed, patient may be moved to a waiting area. After the device is removed, patients can be discharged immediately. (a) After administering local anesthetic, the Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System is used to access the sinus space. (b) A small, self-expanding dilator is temporarily placed into the sinus opening. (c) The dilator gradually expands by absorbing the moisture from the surrounding mucosa. (d) The dilator is removed, thereby restoring drainage and ventilation of the sinus.
4 The SinuSys Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System treats sinusitis using a unique, self-expanding technology. The Cost Savings of Simple In-Office Sinus Dilation This simple in-office procedure immediately establishes sinus ventilation and drainage without the costs and risks associated with long-term, repetitive medical therapy or the complexity of high-pressure balloon dilation. 5 Treatment Options for Sinusitis Compare the Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System with other treatment options to see the potential benefits of this innovative new treatment. Medicinal Therapy Balloon Sinus Dilation Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System via Sinus Surgery Osmotic Expansion Symptomatic relief but does not address underlying cause of disease. Potential undesirable side effects from steroids. Potential for antibiotic resistance. Per-patient costs can exceed thousands of dollars over several years. An alternative for patients who don t respond to medicinal treatment but don t want or need sinus surgery. Office-based procedures often require anxiolytics and heavy local anesthesia or sedation. Complex technology often requires more than 30 minutes per procedure and need for assistance. Procedure is somewhat expensive. As in antibiotic/ steroid treatments, balloon dilation, or sinus surgery, re-establishes sinus ventilation and drainage for patients with recurrent acute or chronic sinusitis. In-office procedure is highly tolerable for patients using local (often topical) anesthesia. Simple procedure requires only minutes of patient chair and physician operating time. Procedure is relatively inexpensive. When other treatments fail, surgery with balloons or instruments can restore drainage and ventilation. Requires general anesthesia and a longer recovery time. Learn more about the Vent-Os Sinus Dilation System at or call SINUSYS.
