8 Conclusions We found little evidence that number of new NRTI started or predicted NRTI activity within the regimen, were associated with risk of virological failure of the 2nd line regimen Conclusions These findings may reflect the effectiveness of PI/r component negative impact of initiating more new agents Overall: high risk of virological failure heterosexuals low CD4 count Further analyses/prospective studies required
