Microlight Institute Difficult, Frustrating Chronic Conditions: Cracking the Code with Microlight April 13, 2016 Darren Starwynn, O.M.D.
Your Instructor Dr. Darren Starwynn is an acclaimed expert in electrotherapeutic pain management and vibrational medicine, with over 30 years of clinical experience. He's the author of the books Microcurrent Electro- Acupuncture and Healing the Root of Pain, and an innovative researcher and inventor. He has a clear teaching style, and ability to integrate advanced healing knowledge into practical applications. dstarwynn@eastwestmed.com
The Challenge We are seeing more patients with complex disorders who do not respond well to the treatments we have done before. The challenge is to accurately diagnose them find a treatment plan that will help get long-term improvement. Difficult, Frustrating Chronic = DFC in the rest of this presentation!
Factors to Consider for DFC Patients Organ stress - use TCM / Five Element diagnosis Imbalance of autonomic nervous system due to toxins, EM pollution or emotional trauma Meridian blockages look at scar tissue, postural issues, old injuries Hormonal imbalances often associated with dietary factors or emotional trauma Sleep Apnea & Insomnia Anxiety/Depression often around relationships or lack of them Karmic/Soul level implants, entities
Evaluating DFC Patients First of all, use your intuition You are your own most valuable diagnostic instrument. What do you feel as you first speak with them? What do you see when you first see them? (in person or skype) What do you hear in their voice? When they tell you their complaints, listen between the words to what they are REALLY saying Use what you have learned from past patients to look for patterns
Evaluating DFC Patients Alarm Point Kinesiology Energetic Evaluation Methods Electronic Meridian Testing Dowsing to test chakras, scar tissue, choice of acu-points and more Sensing with your hands Kinesiology testing for toxins Chinese pulse dx
Preparing for a Session Self-protection, affirming boundaries, turquoise body suit Setting intention Create sacred space of healing, call in your team Unified Field Connect with your healing source Read notes and intake forms carefully! Take a moment to plan tx and ask for guidance Center yourself in Love
Comparing Diagnostic Systems It is valuable to perform 2 3 different diagnostic meridian intakes, and compare the readings. Meridians or Organs that show up as dysfunctional in two or more systems are clearly significant.
Pattern Recognition Western medicine mostly treats isolated parts of the body. Energetic medicine aims to treat the whole person. To do this successfully requires recognition of the underlying pattern of energetic imbalance. In most cases, treating only two well-chosen meridians will balance the entire body.
Key Imbalance Based on meridian test readings, symptoms and other intake data, recognize which meridian/organ imbalance is most significant to the patient s complaint
Key Imbalance Pairing After determining the Key Imbalance, examine other imbalanced meridian/organs. Look for one that is related to the Key Imbalance through: Master-Coupled pairing of Extraordinary Vessel confluent points Polar meridian pair relationship
Other Meridian Balancing Strategies Five Element relationship meridian points Mu-Shu treatment of associated Organs, preferably with microcurrent-color light combo + or current on Source or Luo points PNE balancing methods with visualizations and affirmations Salsa dancing and a margarita
Basis of Electronic Meridian Testing (EMT) Higher EMT readings = Higher conductivity on test points (lesser resistance)= Greater flow of energy through channel. Lower EMT readings= Lower conductivity on test points (greater resistance)= Lessened or stagnant energy through channel
Basis of EMT II Good flow of energy = good health= average readings of Excess energy (readings above 65) often indicate acute pain, inflammation or toxicity in the channel/organ Lessened or blocked energy (readings below 50) through channels often indicate fatigue, depression, deficiency of Qi and Blood, degenerative conditions or chronic pain
EMT Test Points
BFD Test Point Measurement
AcuLogic Meridian Test Screen
Your Clinical Toolbox Mu-Shu Color Balancing Mu-Shu Color & Specific Microcurrent Frequencies Mu-Shu/O-ring informed nutritional/herbal support FST: Frequency Sequence Therapy (FST Tablet) FST & Acupuncture Nutritional and Toxin testing and clearing PNE Balancing
Microcurrent Mu-Shu Technique
Mu-Shu Treatment Applications Apply through Organs to support treatment of internal medical diseases and neuropathies Provide deeper level treatments for pain relief and injury rehab can improve carry-over of treatment results. Examples: treating the Kidney Mu-Shu points for chronic knee pain or the Gall Bladder for hip osteoarthritis Apply through PNE centers (chakras) to anchor emotional or Soul healing in conjunction with intuitive counseling In most cases apply Mu-Shu technique before doing symptomatic techniques for pain, rehab, facials, etc.
Microcurrent-Light Probe Mu-Shu Treatment Procedure Use Alarm Point kinesiology to determine imbalanced Organs. Select Key Imbalance Organ (and secondary imbalance if possible) Use challenge testing to determine ideal color to treat each imbalanced Organ Use polarized probes (Probe #2) with indicated color to treat each organ. Place + probe on Front-Alarm point and probe on Back-Shu points Treat each Organ for seconds left and right Re-test Alarm points after treatment to confirm that they are strong and balanced
Complementary Colors For Mu-Shu Techniques Organ Primary Colors Secondary Colors Yang Yin Yang Yin Lungs No current for patients with cardiac disease or pacemaker, others OK Red Green Orange Indigo Pericardium No current, light only Scarlet or Magenta Violet Orange Blue Heart No current, light only Scarlet or Magenta Purple Orange Blue Gall Bladder Yellow Violet Red Green Liver Yellow Violet Red Green Stomach Yellow Violet Orange Blue Spleen/Pancreas Yellow Violet Orange Blue Triple Warmer Yellow Violet Red Green Small Intestine Magenta Green Yellow Violet Large Intestine Orange Blue Yellow Violet Kidneys Red Green Scarlet or Magenta Urinary Bladder Red Green Scarlet or Magenta Purple Purple
Complementary Colors Turquoise Red Green Magenta Blue Yellow Complementary colors are used to balance any function. Treating 2 organs with complementary colors provides a very powerful overall balancing
Frequency Sequences In this system one of more tissue frequencies are passed through one set of electrodes while one or more condition frequencies are passed through a second set. Examples: 40 / 396, 10 Reduce inflammation / in the nerve and spinal cord 40 / 630, 330, 710, 396 Reduce inflammation / in whole disc, disc nucleus, disc annulus, nerve
FST Module Tablet
Combining FST and Microlight Broad stimulation with frequency microcurrents is highly synergistic with microcurrent and light (Microlight) acu-point treatment. This beautifully fulfills the Root and Branch principle. Examples: 40 / 396, 10 Reduce inflammation / in the nerve and spinal cord Combine with spinal autonomic balance tx 40 / 630, 330, 710, 396 Reduce inflammation / in whole disc, disc nucleus, disc annulus, nerve Combine with extraordinary vessel acupuncture or Microlight on SI 3 & UB 62 40, 294 / 480, 100, 35 Reduce inflammation & trauma / to ligaments Use at end of Pain Mastery Sequence therapy for knees
Solfeggio Hz Run Solfeggio frequencies through pad electrodes, combined with chakra balancing, ear clips or spinal autonomic balance

Mu-Shu Guided Supplement Decisions Mu-Shu color treatment immediately feeds/balances identified organ system Based upon presenting sx and the color hunger of the system in need of support, prescribe nutritional supplement +/or herbal formula for ongoing organ support until next tx. evaluation Examples: CV 12 Stomach: HCl Liv.14 Liver: Xiao Yao Wan Liv. 13 Spleen: Digestive Enzymes

Spinal Autonomic Regulation Therapy Use Organ-specific colors, or simpler version is Orange for points below L3, points above can be treated with White light. Kinesiology can be used for determining color selection.
Spinal Autonomic Balance Treat series of para-spinal Back-Shu points with Microlight probes moving bilaterally down spine. These treatment parameters were used: Intensity: 75 µa Biphasic (+/-) polarity Square waveform Timer: 30 seconds per spinal level Color therapy was changed at each level of the spine, selecting colors that matched corresponding Organs Acutron Ramp Hz: Treatment is programmed to ramp in ascending and descending frequencies between 1 and 12 Hz.
Summary for Treating DFC Patients Improve your diagnostic skills including your intuition and direct knowing Take time to grasp the Root and treat in in each session Be aware of when to detox the body and when to balance and supplement Develop your own consciousness and make sure you are on the cutting edge of your own path. Most DFC patients are facing a shift in consciousness, and you need to be there to be able to fully support them Take good care of yourself, doctor! Love yourself.
