With Universal Tao books it was a whole other level because the formulas (practices were being taught & practiced) not written down in book form to sell to anyone. MC had 8 self-published books & 2 published books (he was not getting any royalties from the publisher, Aurora) in print over 20 years with another 40 to go but his originals could not on softcopy so they could not be sold to a publisher. I had my work cut out with a non-english speaking Thai staff (Gee, then came Jim (the woman I trained at my Thai printers for my chi Cards & books) that MC hired after she got into a fight with my printer s wife, Kwan (currently training) & Oh then & now Kook for the Foreign Rights & then Gate & now Leck for the instructor while using Lin to scan everything) that had no what the books were about but understood how use the computers. So I had them scam the exist books & I edited them with English proof readers (Jean Chilton & Colin Campbell) while I had put together the new starting with Tao Yin from stretch with only the formulas & filling in text between them producing a Book, Booklet, Poster, Post Card & T-Shirts through my Chi Card printer, Sermsak creating a series. These were all self-published & we knew we had to get them to the public either creating a distribution company or get a real publisher to distribute them which everyone at the time said we could never get but MC & I said watch us. Through Bryan Bertsch who said he could get us a lead with InnerTraditions or Red Wing Publishers so after about 2 years I got an InnerTraditions lead, Jon Graham & struck deal with them ($3,000 per book $1,500 signing the contract & the balance when the book printed based on a 8-10% royalty payback.) on our book, Sexual Reflexology, co-author with me under W.U. Wei (I knew they would take a sex book so that is why I threw it together when everyone threw it in the garbage) followed by another 30 contracts over the following 6 years with another 21 books to go. In the early 1990s this Senior Instructor moved to Tao Garden, Thailand and assisted Master Mantak Chia in building Tao Garden Taoist Training Center.
