3 To Adjust an Imbalance in Wood #1 (Too much or too little) "Three Plant" Method - Place them: One just inside the main entry One just inside the entry to the living room One just inside the bedroom entry Visualize that the wood element is being adjusted and use live, potted plants for best results. Reinforce with The Three Secrets. Leave for a minimum of 27 days, if it dies, replace it with a more expensive one..

4 To Adjust an Imbalance in Wood#2 "Nine Lively Plant" Method Place nine plants along the path of Chi from the inside of the front entry to the outside of the bedroom door. Visualize that the wood element is adjusted. Reinforce with The Three Secrets. Leave for a minimum of 27 days. Note:All nine plants can be placed in the bedroom if necessary. For emphasis, use specially purchased new plants. Particularly good for increasing vitality.

5 To Adjust an Imbalance in Wood#3 Sun Moon Mirror (see slides) Place a Sun Moon Mirror under your mattress in the Family area. Paint the edge green or blue.

6 To Adjust an Imbalance in Fire #1 (Too much or too little) Heart Claming Mudra and Mantra (see slides) Inhale-Exhale Exercise Take in a deep breath. Exhale the breath in nine stages; eight short followed by one long.

7 To Adjust an Imbalance in Fire #2 Note: Can be done nine times a day for 27 days or Nine times every morning for 27 days. If too much fire, you can visualize breathing in the moon. If too little fire, visualize breathing in the sun. Visualize that you are bringing the fire element into balance. Too little breath in sunlight Too much breath in moonlight.

8 To Adjust an Imbalance in Earth (Too much or too little) Yu #1 (shallow bowl used only for this purpose, may have spcial Chinses characters) Place nine small round or oval stones in a shallow bowl. Use a yu if you have one. Choose a color beneficial to your well being. (The different colors are associated with different mantras.) Fill three-quarters full with water and place outside briefly to receive the daylight (the supportive power of the light of universal wisdom). Then place it under your bed or on the night stand.

9 Yu #2 Visualize the elements of the earth. Reinforce with The Three Secrets. Change the water every morning and take outside briefly every day for 9 or 27 days. After 9 or 27 days return the stones to the earth. Do not use them for any other purpose. Place the bowl on your night stand or desk with or without water. Reinforce. with the Three Secrets.

10 To adjust an imbalance in Metal: (either too much or too little) Ring Place a non-metallic ring under the mattress or under the pillow or in the Children area. Leave it for nine days. Then wear on the middle finger (which relates to the self), or on the finger which corresponds to your age. Males use left hand. Females use right hand. Reinforce with The Three Secrets.

11 To Adjust an Imbalance in Metal #2 For a stronger effect, change hands, but only if absolutely necessary! If the ring breaks, replace it with a ring that is different in some way.the ring can be a piece of red string. Swallowing the Saliva (If too much metal) Swallow saliva three times before you speak, or Roll your tongue three times before you speak.

12 Methods for Adjusting Water #1 Wisdom and Social Interaction Dynamic Water (moving): Social and Business Contacts, Personal Drive and Effectiveness Still Water (static): Insight, Intelligence, judgement

13 To Adjust Dynamic Water Write nine letters a day to nine different people for 27 days, or Call nine people a day for 27 days, whom you have not spoken to in six months, or Greet one new person a day for 27 days. Make no requests or complaints. Visualize an appropriate level of flowing water. Reinforce with The Three Secrets. (Use the ousting mudra.)

14 To Adjust Still Water Clarity (From The Sun Moon Mirror Meditation: see slides) Place one small round mirror in the sunlight and another one in the moonlight for 12 or 24 hours. For greatest emphasis, collect sunlight every day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for six or twelve days, and moonlight from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. (At least two hours of moonlight and sunlight must be within this time period.) Place mirrors back to back and put them under your pillow for 9 or 27 nights.

15 Every morning wipe both sides with a white cloth 9 or 27 times. Ask for clarity, or that your still water be adjusted. Visualize a deep, clear pool. Reinforce with The Three Secrets. After 27 days, place the "double-sided" mirror under your mattress, under the pillow. It can remain indefinitely.

16 Alternative You can use a bowl of water under the bed if you don't have a mirror. Replace the water every morning and expose it briefly to the daylight. Parents can do this for a child. Excellent to diminish feelings of inferiority and confusion.
