6 About the NHS 10 year plan

7 The NHS 10 year plan is about: Cancer services Services for heart and lung health Mental health services Learning disability and autism services And other vital services for children, young people, working age adults and older people

8 What we are doing to write the plan Health care for people with a learning disability, autism or both will be an important part of the plan This is an exciting opportunity! We have to finish the planning by the Autumn of 2018 We are working with people and families, staff and partners to get our part of the plan right We are having lots of meetings about it up to the end of September 8

9 The NHS leads for learning disability and autism: Ray James Ray is the national director for learning disability at NHS England. Dr Jean O Hara Jean is the national clinical director for learning disability at NHS England. She is also a consultant psychiatrist at South London and the Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Rob Webster Rob is the chief executive at the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. 9

They make the final decision.
