Last year, we deliberated on an important topic of Management of Advanced Head and Neck Cancer. In continuum of focused discussion, this year s theme is Improving Outcomes in Head and Neck Cancer - Oncological, Functional and BEYOND. We have seen improvement in oncological outcomes in recent years, but now in addition, we need to focus on functional and quality of life requirements of our patients. Endoscopic resections, robotic surgery, dental implants, advances in radiation techniques, targeted therapy, molecular markers, etc. are being incorporated in practice with the intention of improving functional outcomes.
