1 PHONE: (972) Robert F. "Bob" Pinas February 19, July 25, 2011 Robert F. Bob Pinas was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 19, 1947, to Frank and Frances Pinas. He passed away suddenly on July 25, 2011 in Plano, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Pinas. He is survived by his mother, Frances Fran Pinas of Allen, Texas; his brother, Gerald Pinas of Irvine, California; many cherished cousins, friends, beloved church family, former workers, and his beloved dog, Misty. Robert was a resident of Allen, Texas, and a former resident of Dallas, Texas, after moving from Justice, Illinois. He went to St. Blasé School and Argo High School in Sumit- Argo, Illinois where he was an honor student; then graduated from the University of Illinois for engineering in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. He went to work for Texas Instruments and then D.R.S., where he retired in Robert moved his parents to Allen, Texas in 2008, due to poor health, and was their caregiver until his sudden death. Robert was an avid sports fan and was an avid golfer, bowler, and runner, and he enjoyed soccer. He was very active in his church as a volunteer, teacher, and preacher. He worked at the mission feeding, teaching, and preaching to the homeless; and many other volunteer projects with North Garland Baptist Fellowship and the Allen community. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at North Garland Baptist Fellowship, 5840 N. Garland Avenue, Garland, Texas 75044, with Rev. Tony Matthews officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. A memorial/inurnment service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas. Memorials may be made to: Union Gospel Mission, Dallas Men s Shelter, 3211 Irving Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75247, Memorials I wanted to say to Francis that I am sorry for your loss. I live a few houses down from Bob and remember meeting him and both his parents when we first

2 moved into our house 5 years ago. I believe I did meet you and your husband as he did say one year probably in 2008 when we came by for Halloween that he was taking care of his parents. I then talked with him once more about his lab who he so dearly loved. I remember seeing him driving his ford truck with Misty in the front seat with him as she was his best friend. I remember seeing the commotion outside on July 21 and remember seeing his truck wrecked in his garage. I hope everything is ok with Misty, the house on Petunia Drive and you as well. Bob will be missed in our neighborhood along with Misty since he usually always took her out in the mornings and got our dogs barking. Take care and god bless the family. SUSAN STEPEK D'ALEXANDER, AUGUST 3, 2011 I met Bob in Mostek. He was a very knowledgeable process engineer & contributor to Fab 2's successes. We became very good friends. He taught me how to bowl, which was a challenge in itself. He was always a giver taking care of others. I moved away in 1986 but the distance never mattered as we stayed in touch over the years especially during football season. He always had a positive spin on life in general. He touched a lot of lives in which he will be remembered & missed. Condolences to his mother Frances & brother Gerald as well as the rest of the Pinas family. I'm sure there was a reason that

He was much loved and respected by the men who he taught. We thank God for his service. ALLEN STONE, AUGUST 3, 2011 I have known Bob about 30 years and he was a really great guy he was always helping others. I last saw Bob about 3 years ago at my stepfather's homegoing and he was as pleasant as ever. Bob will be greatly missed. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Bob has everlasting life with the lord. BERTHA GALLINGTON, AUGUST 2, 2011 Hello my name is Barbara and I want to say to Bob's mother Francis that I am sorry about her son's sudden death and I will keep in my prayers that God will bless her and see her through all of this. I was so blessed to have "Bob" in my family as a brother-in-law for over 15 yrs. He was the perfect man to have in the family and I still consider him as my brother-in-law and no one can take those pleasures of enjoyment away from me or my family because god up above saw everything (he sits high and looks low)and know what our family is going through. I must remember "Bob" as the good man he was and continue to love what he did for us all. I learned a lot from him over the years and will miss him not only as a co-worker but as a well respected friend. My favorite quote from Bob, "Take your time and do it right."

4 BRANDON S. GEORGE, AUGUST 2, 2011 I worked with Bob at Texas Instruments for many years. I retired before it bacame DRS. Many years of working enjoyment was my pleasure. Although not directly with Bob but around him in service. WALTER LEE KRISS, AUGUST 1, 2011 Bob was one of the good guys. I've know him since 1991 when I started working in the FPAD lab. He had a way with words and wasn't afraid to voice it. I hated to see him retire from DRS but I know he had millions of Ideas and things he wanted to accomplish. But the Lord called him home before he could finish any of them. He will be missed greatly. But I know he is truly happy being in the presents of God. JENNY MOORE, AUGUST 1, 2011 I worked with Bob for many years at DRS. He would come out of the cleanroom and say jokingly "I can't handle it, I just can't handle it. Go in the lab and see if you can reign them in." But then on paydays he would tell me to go get my wheelbarrel the money truck was here. I have missed him since he has been gone from DRS, and will treasure the moments he was here on earth with us. With loving memories. Cora Fletcher CORA FLETCHER, AUGUST 1, 2011 I am proud to say that Bob was my beloved cousin and a man of God. He was a blessing in my and my family's life. Our childhood memories were shared fequently - as we communication via the telephone. We were fortunate to have such great parents and cousins. In our later years, we often discussed God and how He was working in our lives. He would share with me where and when he was sharing the Word with men in prisons and his family and friends in Texas. We always ended with a prayer for our friends and families. I will miss those calls. I know he is dancing with Niki at this time.i know that we will miss him being " around" but as I believer I know that he is in a better place and that I will see him when I pass. 5 Please pass along my condolences to Gerald and Fran. I saw Bob last week and he was very sad about the loss of his father and concerned about Gerald. Bob was very special to me. I was his dental hygienist in Dallas for years. He was a good man. This is such a shock and hurt for me and our practice will miss him very much.
